Postdoctoral Programs

Postdoctoral fellows make vital intellectual contributions to the FAS. They collaborate with faculty members, deepen their research expertise, and in some cases teach undergraduates and graduate students.

The FAS Office of Postdoctoral Affairs supports all postdoctoral scholars, including Research Associates and College Fellows, on Harvard's Cambridge campus. Its mission is to help postdocs reach their career and professional development goals, to serve as a resource to campus constituents on postdoctoral life and work, and to work with the FAS Postdoctoral Association to build a sense of postdoc community on Harvard's Cambridge campus. In addition, postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to connect with colleagues in their laboratories, departments or areas, divisions or School(s), and Harvard's centers and institutes.

For more information, please access the Postdoctoral Fellows' Handbook.
