Harvard Travel Services and Corporate Card

Harvard Travel Services provides information or assistance related to booking ground, rail, and air transportation for domestic and international travel, hotel and car rental discounts, travel advisories, and many other things. In addition, eligible employees may apply for a corporate card to pay for travel and entertainment expenses. 

Office of Work/Life

Harvard’s Office of Work/Life supports the health, well-being and work/life integration of benefits-eligible faculty, staff and postdoctoral fellows as well as their spouses/partners and dependents.

Research Appointments Matrix

The Research Appointment Matrix contains information about the object codes, fringe rates, and payment methods used for various research appointment types.

Outings & Innings

Outings & Innings offers to eligible Harvard employees and affiliates discounted tickets to a wide range of movies, performing arts events, museums, sports events, theme parks, and season attractions. 

Harvard Transportation and Parking

Eligible Harvard employees can purchase parking permits, receive discounts on MBTA passes, arrange carpools, charter vans, ride Harvard's daytime vans if they have physical and medical conditions that make riding Harvard's accessible shuttle buses difficult, use Harvard's evening van service as a supplement to the regular shuttle buses, learn more about bike commuting, and many other things. 

Harvard University Employee Credit Union

The Harvard University Employees Credit Union is a full-service credit union open to all Harvard faculty, staff, and their families. It offers savings and checking accounts; car, home, and student loans; debt consolidation, and many other services.

Harvard Library Access

Harvard has more than 70 libraries; policies on admittance and borrowing privileges vary per library. For the Harvard College Library system (which includes Widener Library, Lamont Library, Cabot Science Library, and many others), information on borrowing privileges is available here. Faculty Retirement Program Brochure

In December 2010, the FAS unveiled a voluntary retirement program. The FAS Retirement Program allows faculty to choose a phased, personalized retirement path with a transition that lasts from two to four years, depending on the option chosen by the faculty member.

Faculty Real Estate Services

Harvard's Faculty Real Estate Services provides a broad range of housing services to current and prospective Harvard faculty and administrators. It provides information and assistance related to home buying, selling, and moving; rental properties and services; and related matters such as transit and parking, schools, and local hospitals.

Faculty Financial Services

Faculty Financial Services staff can assist faculty in matters such as supplemental compensation or Harvard research "start-up" funds. They can also provide information and referrals related to the financial aspects of recruitment, relocation, and retirement for individual faculty members.
