New Faculty Workshop: Using Class Time Effectively

As you prepare to begin teaching at Harvard, come together with other new faculty and members of the Bok Center's senior staff to explore a range of ideas about how to make the most of your in-class time with students. Whether you're teaching an intimate seminar or a vast lecture, we'll think about ways to design interactive class sessions that engage students in the work of learning and create opportunities for real-time feedback about how well students are mastering the material. Spend an hour on with us on Zoom to pick up some valuable ideas about motivating student attendance, engaging the tools of active learning, and focusing student attention.
