Newer faculty and researchers should seek professional advice and feedback from senior colleagues and peers. By the same token, the FAS views mentoring of less experienced colleagues as an essential act of collegiality and citizenship. Mentorship means taking an active interest in your colleagues, giving them practical advice, and sharing knowledge and networks with them.
